Our New Location
After a seven-month-long search for the right location and a year-long construction process, we are happy to announce our new office is ready for your visit in the Friendly-Holden building. Near the Tanger Bicentennial Garden and Friendly Shopping Center, access is easy from Holden Road, Friendly Avenue or nearby Wendover Avenue. Calming spaces and a kid-friendly atmosphere combine to help keep your children relaxed and engaged, while allowing us to complete a state-of-the-art examination. Please call us to schedule an appointment and we look forward to seeing you!
M. Grace Patel, MD
Dr. Grace Patel moved to Greensboro in January of 2015 to serve as a pediatric ophthalmologist for the community. After three years, she is pursuing her own practice in order to continue serving the Triad and beyond.
Her medical school, post-doctoral research and residency were completed at the University of Kentucky. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at St. Louis Children's Hospital through Washington Univ. in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She has clinical and surgical experience with a broad spectrum of childhood eye disorders, most commonly strabismus and amblyopia. She has a particular interest in treating childhood cataracts and retinopathy of prematurity.
Dr. Patel is married with two sons under the age of three. The men in the household keep her busy outside of work and she wouldn't have it any other way. Her family enjoys serving with Grace Community Church. In her (rare) spare time, she might be found on the tennis courts, reading a book or practicing piano.
