M. Grace Patel, MD
Pediatric Ophthalmologist
Dr. Grace Patel moved to Greensboro in January of 2015 to serve as a pediatric ophthalmologist for the community.
Her medical school, post-doctoral research and residency were completed at the University of Kentucky. She then served as the fellow in pediatric ophthalmology at St. Louis Children's Hospital through Washington Univ. in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She has clinical and surgical experience with a broad spectrum of childhood eye disorders, most commonly strabismus and amblyopia. She has a particular interest in treating childhood cataracts and retinopathy of prematurity.
Dr. Patel is married with two sons and a daughter, all under the age of ten. Her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and kids, in the backyard or with friends. In her (rare) spare time, she might be found on the tennis courts, reading a book or practicing piano.
